EXPLOITATION or COMEDY? It is incredible to me that this child's parents posted this video on YouTube, and even more unbelievable that this video has gone viral with over 23 million views. What does this say about our society? Of course, all of us have treated patients who may have acted in a confused or perhaps inappropriate manner during or after sedation dental treatment. I would like to believe that dentists and their staff are trained to deal with these situations in a professional and respectful manner, and not to compromise or exploit the patient! I would never expect this to be posted by a parent. I believe there is also now a charge to download the video. You be the judge!

This YouTube video is a huge viral hit with over 23 MILLION views. If you haven't already seen it, I'm sure many of your patients have. So, as dentists, what do you think?

Funny? Is David being exploited? Have any patients mentioned the video before going under for surgery? Have you had any similarly confused/hilarious patients?
