Event Description
This is a comprehensive continuing education course on the administration of conscious sedation and is appropriate for non-anesthesia dental providers who currently hold sedation permits in the state of Florida.
This course meets the requirements of The Florida Board of Dentistry Chapter 64B-14.004 (6) Which states: Each anesthesia permit holder must complete at least four (4) hours of continuing education relating to anesthesia each biennium the permit is held, to include two (2) hours dealing with the management of medical emergencies. These hours would be included in the 30 hours of continuing education required by Section 466.0135(1) Florida Statutes.
Course is being presented by Patrick McCarty DDS a dentist anesthesiologist.
Conscious Sedation Consulting is an ADA CERP recognized continuing education provider and an approved CE provider by The Florida Board of Dentistry.
ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry.
